Our instructors set their own schedule, so keep in mind that within the timeframe of each day there is room for adjustments. If you need to schedule back to back sessions, semi-privates, or hour-long sessions at a time, call our office. We may be able to accommodate your needs! Swimming Lessons

How do I make and pay for my private lesson?

Do I need to tip my instructor/lifeguard?

Our instructors and lifeguards love what they do! While tips are not required, they are welcomed :)

Can I make a special time arrangement?

We will try our best to accommodate you as best we can. Keep in mind our instructors set their own schedule as they are students and parents as well. 

What qualifications do the instructors have?

All of our instructors have the following as MINIMUM qualifications:

 

  • YMCA Swim Instructor or American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)

  • Current lifeguard, First aid, CPR Professional 

  • O2 and blood borne pathogens certification 

  • Minimum 5 yr. experience as instructor

  • General Liability Insurance

  • Advanced swimmer

How do I book a lifeguard?

How many lifeguards do I need?

For safety reasons, we recommend and enforce a maximum of 15 swimmers per lifeguard. The 15 swimmers maximum include adults and children.

I requested information regarding Lifeguarding. What happens next?

After receiving your request, a member of our AquaDocs staff will call you to work through event details. We will send you an email confirmation, that will include the waiver of liability that must be turned in before event start time

How do I pay for the event?

AquaDocs instructors must receive full payment AND signed waiver before the event begins. 

Do I have to tip my instructor/lifeguard?

Our instructors and lifeguards love what they do. While tips are not required, they are appreciated by our staff.

What qualifications do the lifeguards have?

All of our guards have the following as MINIMUM qualifications:
