AQUADOCS is always looking for qualified, motivated individuals seeking part-time or seasonal employment. AquaDocs is dedicated to teaching children and adults the necessary water safety skills, stroke mechanics, competitive swimming techniques, and coaching in a friendly, confident, and positive environment.

Currently, we are hiring for:

 

  1. Swim Instructors

  • Compensation for swim instructors ranges DOE ($35-40/hr.)

  • Responsible for providing a positive and individualized approach to water safety and swim instruction.

  • The swim instructor is responsible for instructing and evaluating all swim lesson participants

  • Instructor will be responsible for arriving at client’s home in a timely manner.

  • Undergo quarterly skill assessment drills upon hire

  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.

  • All other duties as assigned and appropriate.

    Qualifications Requirements
     

  • YMCA Swim Instructor or American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)

  • Current lifeguard, First aid, CPR Professional required

  • O2 and blood borne pathogens certification required.

  • Reliable source of transportation.

  • Minimum 5 yrs. experience as a private swim instructor
     

  • Swim Instructor insurance will be paid by employer upon hire.

  • All references will be checked before employment.

 

 2. Lifeguard

  • Compensations for lifeguards $20/hr.

  • Responsible for maintaining a constant surveillance of patrons in the facility

  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to accidents involving water rescues, first aid or CPR

  • Undergo quaterly skill assessment drills upon hire.

  • Performs standard lifeguard duties.

  • Enforces pool rules and maintains AquaDocs rules and regulations in pool area.

  • Performs chemical testing when not guarding , as required, and takes appropriate action.

  • Assesses children's levels of ability to swim and communicates with event host

  • Provide child supervision in and around pool area and serves as an active role model for the children.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications Requirements

  • Current lifeguard, First aid, CPR Professional required
